A COMMON WAY TO GET TO   A  WEBSITE IS TO ENTER THE URL OF ITS HOMEPAGE FILE IN YOUR WEB BROWSER  ADDRESS LINE.HOWEVER, ANY FILE WITHIN THAT  WEB SITE CAN ALSO BE SPECIFIED WITH A URL.
